Cookies and local storage
Cookies are small values a website or third-party service stores through a browser. Local storage is a related browser feature that keeps a value for a particular site without sending it automatically with every request.
Dezly uses local storage only for presentation preferences such as theme and an optional remembered language choice for the language switcher. Those values are not a consent record. Advertising and analytics storage are controlled by Google Privacy & Messaging and Google Consent Mode, not by a first-party Dezly preference panel.
Google Privacy & Messaging
Dezly uses Google Privacy & Messaging as its Google-certified consent management platform for European regulations. The message records and communicates advertising and analytics choices through the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework and Google Consent Mode.
Where the message applies, visitors can reopen it through Privacy and cookie settings in the footer. Google and participating vendors may store consent records required to remember and apply that choice.
Preference categories
| Category | Default | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | On | Record privacy choices, validate Turnstile contact-form tokens, support security, and deliver requested pages or responses. |
| Analytics | Off | Permit Google Analytics 4 measurement and Microsoft Clarity cookies, heatmaps, and session recordings. |
| Advertising | Off | Permit Google AdSense storage and advertising features and the corresponding Microsoft Clarity advertising-storage signal. |
Analytics
Google Analytics 4 uses measurement ID G-5Z7EJW8WHF. Microsoft Clarity uses project ID yc20obhnc4. Storage is denied by default. Where supported, the tags may operate with limited cookieless signals until a choice is made; analytics cookies, linked sessions, heatmaps, and recordings require the applicable consent.
Clarity receives ConsentV2 advertising and analytics storage signals from the consent layer. Global Privacy Control forces both Clarity storage categories to remain denied. Retention and deletion within each provider are governed by the account settings and provider terms.
Advertising and Google AdSense
When advertising permission and required regional controls are in place, Dezly may load Google AdSense using the publisher account identified in the page metadata. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on a visitor's prior visits to dezly.co or other websites. Google's advertising cookies enable Google and its partners to serve and measure personalized or non-personalized ads.
Visitors can manage personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings and may opt out of some participating vendors through YourAdChoices. Google explains how it uses information from partner sites in its partner-sites notice. Exact identifiers and durations vary by region, browser, ad format, consent state, and provider configuration.
Dezly will not enable personalized ad serving in a region where Google requires a certified consent management platform until that mechanism is configured. Google Privacy & Messaging is configured as the certified CMP for European regulations; its message must be published before this integration is deployed publicly.
Global Privacy Control
If the browser exposes a Global Privacy Control signal, the site keeps advertising permission disabled even if the advertising switch had previously been selected in that browser session. This supports opt-out requirements that may apply to targeted advertising or qualifying data sharing.
Change or withdraw your choice
Select Privacy and cookie settings in the footer to reopen Google Privacy & Messaging where it applies. You can change or withdraw optional advertising and analytics consent for future activity.
Withdrawing consent does not automatically delete information already processed lawfully by a provider. You can also clear site data in your browser and use the privacy controls provided by Google and Microsoft.
Browser controls
Most browsers allow you to block cookies, clear site data, restrict cross-site tracking, or use private browsing. Blocking all storage may cause the privacy banner to reappear and can prevent the site from remembering your choice. Core reading pages remain available without optional storage.
Do Not Track
Browsers implement older Do Not Track signals inconsistently and there is no single response standard. Dezly gives effect to explicit preference choices and Global Privacy Control as described above.
