Editorial remit
The Research & Accessibility Desk reviews source quality, document structure, keyboard use, descriptive alternatives, contrast, plain language, disclosures, and routes for reporting barriers or factual problems.
Review method
Research notes separate observation, expert guidance, manufacturer information, regulation, and editorial judgment. Accessibility checks begin during design and editing rather than after release.
Review notes identify the claim being checked, the evidence or practical step used, and unresolved limitations. Publication is held when a missing detail could materially change the reader's result.
Boundaries and disclosures
Dezly aims to align with WCAG 2.2 AA without claiming every page is barrier-free. Reports are prioritized by impact and documented when they require a substantive correction.
