Review method
Review begins with the reader's intended outcome. Drafts are checked for assumptions, undefined terms, missing steps, unsupported claims, and places where a reader could reasonably reach a different interpretation.
Review notes identify the claim being checked, the evidence or practical step used, and unresolved limitations. Publication is held when a missing detail could materially change the reader's result.
Boundaries and disclosures
The desk does not replace subject review. Technical claims are routed to the relevant specialist desk, while advertising and commercial relationships remain separate from publication decisions.
